Suki.Desu.Suzuki-kun!!.full.1272111.jpg

This manga is all about a boy who immediately fall to a girl upon seeing her almost professional way of acting. There is this childhood friend of him, who is already attracted to him since long ago. But because the boy is too dumbto notice, the pitiful girl’s feelings wasn’t returned. This was not until there comes another boy, whose rich, arrogant, and cold behaviour towards others created an interesting atmosphere for the readers to continue.

I do not hate this manga particularly. It is just that I...HATE THE ROMANCE (just like in Akuma to Love Song). Not to mention that I do not like the characterization of the main heroine, Hoshino. She’s damn too perfect, that it is unfair for Chihiro's case, who is also a main character.

When it comes to the boys, I really dislike Suzuki! I don’t know why he is so apathetic towards the obvious love interest of his childhood friend towards him. Not to mention that when she met Hoshino, they immediately fell in love! My temper got defeated when they started to kiss, not once but many times, and tried to do things beyond kissing as early as the few first chapters! For short, I disliked the part when these couple appears, and to be honest, I never read it at all! I just clicked over the next pages to check if there were ChihiroXShinobu moments.

I continued to read this manga solely because of Chihiro and Shinobu. How I wish that the story had its focus on them instead, because it so seems that the story will be better if they are the main characters alone.

Chihiro is a strong, nice, and beautiful girl who doesn’t immediately do stupid things like falling in love all of a sudden. While Shinobu is that cold, rich, but nice deep inside boy who managed to see through Chihiro’s character. I can say that the best plot twist is on their side. They are the ones who kept me on reading. I love their characters and the way how they fell in love with each other. Sadly, compared to the first couple I mentioned, this love team has a lesser appearance on the manga, which really irritates me more while on the process of reading.

This is my opinion only, if you wanted to read this manga, let me tell you that Suzuki and Hoshino’s scenes are just a waste of time. They always do perverted stuffs out of nowhere! This manga will be worth reading even without them. I recommend Chihiro and Shinobu, for they are far better in many aspects. I know that I’m being biased here, but the things stated above are my true feelings I wanted to express. If you disagree, or you don’t like it, I don’t care. This blog is my property, and you are very welcome to read if you will accept everything open-mindedly.
