Review: Seiyuu Ka!

One word to describe this manga…it is EPIC. With just the first chapter, I was really sucked inside the story! I felt all the emotions that the characters portrayed! There were also times wherein I cannot stop myself from screaming because of the sweet, embarrassing, and tragic moments between the main character, Shiro(Hime) and the talented cold good-looking boy, Senri.

The manga is all about a girl, who is at a very young age inspired by a professional Seiyuu, Sakura Aoyama to pursue her dreams and to help people on her way. Hime, the main protagonist then decided to become a Seiyuu, the best she can be. But her first steps weren’t that easy because she has this voice not suited for a Seiyuu. Not until she discovered her real potential when she acted the prince voice. On the way, she met Senri Kudou, the son of Sakura Aoyama, who is also a very talented person in the field indeed. Their relationship was not smooth at first, but it developed as they had more interactions while on the course of fulfilling their job.

The best thing about this manga is that it has a very intelligent plot. Well-thought, and is something new. I doubted at first that the mangaka will be able to deliver the scene into the reader’s mind because the main theme is voice(you don't hear any sounds when reading a manga right?), but amazingly, everything goes well! Humor is enough to make you laugh. Sweet moments are present to increase your love desires. Drama is so obvious that can make you cry. Twists and turn-outs are very thrilling that can force you to crave for more chapters.

I know myself whenever I read epic manga, My spirit seems to wander off towards the world where the fictional characters reside. When I managed to finally reclaimed myself, there is this wonderful feeling of happiness, and the thought that I had learned various things. When the chapters end, or in other words, the manga was already completed, I really feel sad to almost crying. Even when I’m about to sleep, events which seem to me as if I’m there inside the story keep on appearing on my mind. If you’re like me, then everything that I mentioned above will happen if you read Seiyuu Ka! Though I’m not that satisfied with the ending, and it is too obvious that the last chapters are in rush, still it managed to enter my TOP 10 best manga!

Read Seiyuu ka right now if you haven’t yet. This is definitely a wonderful piece of another world you shouldn’t miss.
