This anime is one of those heart-warming, heart-breaking, and twisted anime I've ever watched. It has no harem, not cliché, andwith good graphics, only that this require you to watch a few number of episodes before you decide to continue watching.
The story is all about a girl, Mirai Kuriyama who belonged to a cursed blood line of spirit world warriors for their ability to manipulate blood. She later met Akihito Kanbara, who helped her to overcome her weakness. But these are not all, there is this twist hidden in this plot, that Mirai was originally sent to kill Akihito.
The fighting scenes will leave you speechless. There will be countless times that you might say: what the heck is happening? Even there are boring parts, still there are elements that will force you to keep on watching. Especially when Akihito’s other half is shown, or when Mirai’s original goal is revealed.
But these are not the main reasons why I like this anime. The main desserts in this show are…the opening and ending song. As I watched the final episode, there I saw the relevance of the opening and ending song lyrics on the story. The lyrics really fit well. This created a big impact on my part because of the melodies. Earworms invaded my ears countless times, especially when I’m listening to the ending song.
You must agree with me that one of the most important element of a good anime is its songs. Songs can save a near to boredom anime. Animators also use them to convey hidden messages that will surprise the readers as they figure it out.
Watch Kyoukai no Kanata, because of its good plot, graphics, and songs.
