This manga is about a girl, Kawai Maria, who for some reasons possessed the ability to read the personality of other people, and her tendency to be so direct up to the point of telling that person the things true to herself/himself that they do not even desire to know. Because of her direct and cold attitude, she was despised by many. Maria, having been used to it, will just forget all things by singing some classical music. Everything changed when she met Meguro Shin, who is obviously her future love interest.

I was interested in reading this manga because of the word “demon” on its title. Don’t disagree with me if I say demon genres are cool. Just before I read this, I remember a friend who had read it before. She told me she stopped continuing on the later chapters. I asked her why, and she said it was because the girl is irritating, and now, I know what she felt back then *laughs*

The concept was good. I can say that it is something which is definitely interesting. Antagonism was enough to create hardships for the protagonist. Development is present. Everything was fine not until I stumbled on the love story. It is seriously…ridiculous! This is the foremost element of this manga that disappointed me! The way it is presented destroys the character of Maria!

Her original character drastically becomes out of nowhere when she did fall in love. I mean, with the kind of personality she has, it is obvious that she mustn’t act that way she did towards Meguro! What’s more disgusting is when she did something like showing her nude body to Meguro. Oh I forgot, his character also disappoints me. I never thought that he will tolerate Maria’s way of seduction. Damn~

This is the first manga which made me say…

“I hope romance did not exist.”

Romance is one of my favourite genres, and for someone like me to say such thing, then it means that the romance in this manga is really disappointing.

Read this manga, but beware of the romance!
